How to join
Getting onto a Beta 1.7.3 server takes a few minutes the first time.
1. What you need
Minecraft: Java Edition. We recommend a premium Mojang account.
2. Install Beta 1.7.3
Recommended: the Beta Evolutions 2 launcher
Beta Evolutions 2 fixes skins, capes and sounds, and adds a number of quality-of-life fixes and optional features such as proximity voice chat, controller support and a better chat box.
It’s the easiest way to play. The free launcher for Windows, macOS and Linux keeps itself up to date and avoids most “wrong version” problems.
