Premium accounts

For players who own their Minecraft: Java Edition account.

Skip the password: Beta Evolutions 2 logs premium players in automatically, and also fixes skins, capes and sounds.

Set or reset your password

1. Join mc.retromc.org on Beta 1.7.3 once with your username, so your account is added to our database.
2. Connect to mc.retromc.org again using Minecraft 1.18.1 and your premium account. You’ll be disconnected, and the disconnect message will contain a temporary password. Don’t share it with anyone.
3. Rejoin on Beta 1.7.3 and log in with the temporary password.
4. Change it to a password of your own: /changepassword <temporary_password> <new_password>

Cracked accounts

Join our Discord server and open a support ticket. Staff will create or recover your account and make sure your username is in the right format. They may ask you to connect once to verify your username.

Once your account is set up, change the temporary password with /changepassword <temporary_password> <new_password>.

Wiki accounts

• Email address on your account: use Special:PasswordReset.
• Logged in, but no email address: change your password at Special:ChangePassword, then add an email address in Special:Preferences.
• Logged out, with no email address: open a “Login Problem” ticket on our Discord server.
